27MnCrV is a mew steel grade used forP110 steel grade oil pipelines with API 5CT ,ISO 11960 standards.

The regular production steel grades used forP110 steel grade oil pipelineis 29 CrMo44 and 26 CrMo4.

Relative to the latter two, 27 MNCRV contain fewer Mo elements, can greatly reduce the production cost.

But USES the austenitizing quench process of normal production after 27 MNCRV obvious high temperature tempering brittleness, the impact toughness is low and unstable.

To Solve such problems ,there are usually handled in two ways:

One is using the method of rapid cooling after temper brittleness is avoided, and toughness. ,

Two is temperature quenching method through the steel grade of incomplete austenitizing to effectively improve the harmful elements and impurities, improve the toughness.

The first method, relatively strict with heat treatment equipment, need to add the additional cost.
